Proofreading

Are you sure you’ve correctly used “their and there” or “to and too” in your written work? Are you sure you’ve correctly used “who” and “whom”? Are you sure you haven’t used the verb breathe when you should have used the noun breath?

If you’re not sure, then you may want to hire a proofreader to double check you’ve not made any mistakes that spell checkers or grammar apps may not be able to spot. You’re in the right place.

WHAT IS PROOFREADING...

Proofreading is typically done as the last stage in the editing process after the writing has been revised and is ready to be fine-tuned before publishing. Proofreading assumes that the document has already been edited to ensure that the content is organised, well-written and understandable. In this sense, it is a little less extensive than a copy edit. A proofreader checks the written work is free of typographical, grammatical, spelling, punctuation, syntax, formatting and other such errors. A meticulous and thorough task on the path to perfection, it is the final step in the writing process which ultimately makes sure that the document is error-free, consistent and accurate.
